Hi everyone.

I am currently updating my personal hygiene procedure and as a part of it I have visitors health status screening.

Could you have a look at it please?

Comments are welcome.

Particularly I am concerned about symptoms of food poisoning and food borne diseases.

Constantine

Looks like you have covered what imo needs to be covered ours is only 3 questions and has worked for BRC and FSSC22000

In the past two weeks have you been diagnosed with any of the following communicable diseases.  pink eye, flu, measles, mumps, mononucleosis, or whooping cough

In the past week have you had symptoms of nausea, diarrhea, excessive perspiration, and/or coughing

Are you currently suffering from any open cuts, sores, rashes or other skin conditions

Answering yes to any of the above questions may or may not affect your ability to visit all areas of the plant.  Infections, diseases, and various other health conditions may affect the wholesomeness of our products.  Your cooperation is appreciated.

Thank you both!

gfdoucette07, talking about 2 weeks and 1 week you mean these diseases cannot be fully cured within these time periods (e.g. pathogen of flu can survive for 2 weeks after the start of curing)?

Simon, could please explain why there is 3 months? if a person had diarrhoea recurrence about 2.5 months ago, is there any threat for product safety?

Have a nice weekend!

Hi Constantine,

I believe in some cases there can be a long latency, that said I am sorry, but I do not know the source of the 3 months.

Take a look at this document for guidance:  Food handlers fitness for work

Regards,

Simon

This is a very timely post Constantine, as I have been reviewing a similar policy.

My check-list is far more comprehensive so I may well review the information in light of the posts here.

Thank you

Hi Constantine

I would be happy to share my checklist if I could work out how!

All the help info refers to an attach box which I do not seem to have. Apologies
