Hello everybody!

Is there anyone with experience in the certification of FSSC 22000-Q module?

I would like to hear opinions about real advantages of this certification.

We are ISO 9001 certified and wanted to certificate FSSC 22000 considering that is a food manufacturing company.

Looking for info I heard about the Q-module but is not GSFI benchmarked.

Would you recommend to have both certifications separately? (ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000) or de FSSC-Q?

Hi guillenclau,

Arrival was noted here –

I have no direct experience but –

13. Will FSSC 22000-Q be benchmarked by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI)?

Food quality certification falls outside of the GFSI benchmarking process and recognition.

Nonetheless, FSSC 22000 will apply all its existing and future GFSI and ISO based

requirements to the certification process for good governance and integrity ensuring security

and confidence in the FSSC 22000-Q module. This means, as a start, that CBs, offering the

FSSC quality module, must be approved by FSSC, accredited for ISO 9001 and auditors must

meet all relevant competence requirements.

Based on Google, practical feedback so far appears limited.

Kind Regards,
