Hello all

I have two question..

1- What is the content and structure of the checklist of gap analysis before implementing ISO 22000 ??

2- Can I use " Clauses of ISO 22000" from section 4 TO 8, in my checklist ??

Or it is better to use another structure ?? I mean only PRPs to be in the checklist ??

Note that this is a first visit to the food company?

Your help is appreciated..

Hi Almaskati,

(1) The content of ISO 22000 just focus on PRPs, oPRP and HACCP plan. About the structure of ISO 22000 based on ISO 9001 is 08 QMS principles aside those provision above.

(2) You absolutely can build your checklist base on ISO provisions.

As i said above that ISO is Food safety management so that the infrastructure play an important role in set up ISO for food factory. You can refer ISO/TS 22002-1:2009 Prerequisite programmes on food safety which give you deep guidance how to control cross contamination/ contaminant, CP and CCP in order to aim at your quality producy.

If the infrastructure of your factory meet ISO/TS 22002-1:2009 requirements mean that not only your documentation control are not heavy so much but also your product will ensure safety.

Rgds,
Charice

Hello all

I have two question..

1- What is the content and structure of the checklist of gap analysis before implementing ISO 22000 ??

A typical gap analysis rewrites/queries whether the implementer has minimally complied with all the Clauses of the ISO Standard from an auditorial POV. So content/structure typically equiv. to Standard. Other presentations of the content/structure can also be found.

2- Can I use " Clauses of ISO 22000" from section 4 TO 8, in my checklist ??

See 1.

Or it is better to use another structure ?? I mean only PRPs to be in the checklist ??

See1. See "minimally". Technically, the way you actually evaluate  "minimally" is up to you.

Note that this is a first visit to the food company?

Sorry, not sure of the relevance.

Your help is appreciated..
