Hi All,

I am working on the FSSC certification. The company is previously certified for BRC. Now converting to FSSC 22000. Can somebody guide me, do i need to add the clause number of the standard (ISO 22000 and ISO 22002) in all my checklist? or can i give my own internal check-list number?

Will the auditor specifically look for the clause numbers in the checklist?

Please guide me..

Thank you,

Regards,

Hi VBH

it is not necessary to add  the clause number of each item on the check list but if you do so then it will make your job much easier as well as auditor would also just follow your check list to ensure that you have covered all the requirements. It is therefore my personal recommendation that you add clause number for each item on your check list.

Hi Dr.Humaid Khan,

Thank you very much for the suggestions.

For FSSC 22000 we need to create checklists for ISO 22000 and also ISO 22002-1 :2009. In that case adding the clause numbers to the checklist creating confusion between the standards. Is that acceptable if i can give the clause numbers related to the checklist in my Normative reference ?

Kindly suggest and advice.

Thank you,

Regards,
