Brian : Does this regulation apply to hauling of live animals, such as cattle or hogs to the slaughterhouse?  If not, do you foresee the FDA adding that aspect in the near future?

Savy : Farmer / grower is exempt under the PSRule having some general guidlines but If using a contract transport must be compliant with this rule
sarap : If you ship to and from farms, are you exempted if you have exposed product?
Charles : All of the products that we ship are completely enclosed in a container. We are a bottled water company. Am i exempt?

Bruce : Are restaurants that receive deliveries of foods classified as "Receivers" under FSMA?

kathleen : We make a cookie that we ship refrigerated but temp control is not required for safety just quality of the product as it contains chocolate.  Does this rule apply?

Pamela : dry beans and grains may be shipped in "super sacks" that protect the commodities but do "breathe". Is this "packaging" considered to be "fully sealed" abd exenot?
Simon Timperley : We always send an email with recording, slides and certificate after the event

Timothy : What if the shipper is not managing the carrier ie customer Pickup

Jeff : How and where do transportation brokers fall into the program, they are acting a liason "shipper"?
Kimberly : does each level need verification of the prior party's compliance with the rule?
Clarissa : What are forms of verification of temp control on trailers/trucks throughout the route?
Anita : Is a manufacturer shipping foods and contracting a transport carrier to ship. Is the manufacturer now responsible to obatin cleaning records from those carriers? We currently issue a Letter Of Guarantee that covers one  of the requirements being cleanliness, would that be sufficiant?
Robert Bottel : Will there be a certificate of training for this webinar?
GLC : How long must these training records and receving records be kept?
Kathy : Will FDA provide training material/format similar to PCQI?
Bria B : What if any compliance to the Sanitary Transport rule is required of shipper who supplies corn husks to a food processor? Would there be any further FSMA compliance necessary for the shipper and/or manufacturing facility who have an agreement to store the shippers product in our facility?

Eva : What are the record requirements if you only use LTL carriers?
kathleen : are we required to ensure our carriers are complying with this law?

Kim : I dont see anything requiring that trucks remain sealed while in transit to ensure that no one tampers with goods while in transit? Will that become a requirement?

Timothy : Is a distributor/DC delivering to retail (grocery store) required to meet the requirements.

Timothy : I am hearing that in some cases frozen, fully enclosed product may be exempt.  Is this true?

Keith : If we're a PRW (public refrigerated warehouse) will we be required to verify the carriers training?

Christopher : May 2019 will this apply to food packaging shipped to a food plant?
Bruce : The Sanitary Transport rule requires that any product that experienced a deviation from the defined spec for transport be assessed for use or other by a "qualified individual" - what is the definition of the "qualified individual"?

Teigen : When it comes training, how could this be enforced with the rail companies? Usually hopper cars are left at our facilities and there is no interaction between rail conductors. This would be clean bulk grain products being shipped.
