Hi, As part of our BRC requirements we have a leglislation statement listing leglislation we adhere to. I don't know a lot about this area and our auditor has pointed out that our list is very outdated and includes acts which are no longer in force and misses out some we should really have down. Somehow it has fallen down on me (the clueless) to redo this list.
Does any one know what the vital leglislation is that I should be listing (and reading of course) so far I have
* EU regulation 2073/2005 microbiological criteria for foods
* Codex Alimentarius
* The food information act No 1169/2011
* The general food law regulation 178/2002
* The food safety act 1990
* The food safety and hygiene (England) Regulations 2013.
The allergen regulations and OM regulations are referenced on other documents.
