Hey guys, need your help. We are conducting sterilization of mixing tanks for juices at 85 degrees celsius. My question is how log should that equipment be stand-by before use?

Well it depends.

 

What kind of juice?  

 

How old are the tanks? Any pitting, dents, etc?

Hi Sir. It's a new tank. We done sterilization on evening and begin using it the next day. The tank has some vents. The question is it okay to sterilize the tank today then use it tomorrow?

I think, it would be okay as long as the air microbial status of the environment does not contaminate the tank, since it has vents. But we need to know the opinion from experts, like you Sir.

it depends on details on your installation...as long as you are able to prevent recontamination it is possible after sterilization (!)

But a 85°C treatment is not a sterilization. Afterwards spores are able to start growing in a wet environment.

And if you a dead end or installations together with a wet environment.... means, without knowing the details nobody is able to give a clear statement IMO
