Dear Sir,

I have some question for all natural claim according to EU 1924/2006.

In detail;

NATURALLY/NATURAL

Where a food naturally meets the condition(s) laid down in this Annex for the use of a nutritional claim, the term ‘naturally/ natural’ may be used as a prefix to the claim.

Therefore, how do we do about all ingredients?

If our product are curry paste, the lemongrass, shallot, coriander, soybean oil, garlic, galangal and salt in ingredient list.

Do we need to validate all ingredients?

Please kindly advise me?

Hello,

the meaning of the regulation about "natural" is that you cannot use it for a product that you have supplemented with, for example, vitamins, or where you artificially increased the protein ratio with a specific process.

I don't really understand what you mean about "validating all ingredients"? You have to validate your claim against your final product, not your ingredients.

It would be easier to answer your question if you named the claims that you intend to use.

Best regards,

Probard
