Hi Dear Food Champions, 

 

a news comes from the company auditors that the Dutch Government will be withdraw the HACCP standard in coming 2019...

 

is truth or a roamer...

SCV owns (or used to own) both Dutch HACCP and FSSC 22000.

 

A few years ago they decided to not continue with Dutch HACCP as a GFSI recognized scheme, so I suppose this is just a continuation of this.

GFSI is the future, so there really is no need for a stand alone HACCP certification.

Hi Basaukhator,

 

Indeed, it was not GFSI recognized. However, the HACCP approach to build a Food Safety system remains.

 

As an alternative, they advice to switch toward Food Safety System Certification (FSSC 22000) or the FSSC 22000 Global Markets Program. There is a transition document, which can be found under the following link:
