Hi,
Our normal sampling schedule consists the (for our product obligated) usual 5x 25g samples for salmonella testing. We now received a request from a client to have 375g samples tested for salmonella.
No I am a bit confused, should we just take a larger sample (5x 375g) or do we have to take more (15x25g) separate samples in order to be sure more spots in the batch are analysed? Or will 1 sample of 375g be sufficient since it is a larger sample?
I assumed the 375g analysis was based on having a larger amount of product from the same sample tested, but I am not sure about this. What is the exact background on the 25-125-375g etc. testing? Having larger samples to be analysed or more samples?
Thanks in advance!
