Good morning, all.

 

I have been tasked with putting together a proprietary statement for two of our spice blends that we will be sending to a co-packer in order to approve them as a contract manufacturer. My issue is, I have never made one before and I'm not exactly sure what all it needs to entail. I am pretty busy this week, so unfortunately I don't have time to sit and google "propriety statement examples" and read through everything, so I am turning to y'all for help!

 

Does anyone have an example or something they can post?

"This blend is under ownership of company XYZ and shall not be manufactured or replicated by any other firm. Company ABC has been granted approval to use blend 123 for the purpose of copacking on behalf of company XYZ. We reserve the right to withdraw from the contract at any time should you be found negligent in our proprietary blend use and/or manufacture"
