Looking to amend soils for next season and questioning whether there are standards surrounding spreading manure/organic fertilizer on fields.

Ok good....cause you really can't on organic fields without a lot of paperwork hassles

From CanadaGap (thinking the rules will be very similar)

4) Agronomic inputs (fertilizers, soil amendments, pulp sludge, mulch/row covers, compost/compost tea, other by-products) application records are kept?

5) Manure is applied at least 120 days before harvest, product is not harvested before the 120 days has elapsed and complete and accurate records are kept of manure application date and harvest intervals?

6) Manure is stored separately (from water sources, production sites, buildings, equipment, product, etc.) to prevent contamination?
