Hi All,

In the current trading environment, the suppliers are under increasing pressure to deliver higher margins, whilst maintaining the high levels of product quality. To keep the quality, safety, legal standars and integrity of the products, what steps would you take to mitigate this scenario?

Thanks!

Hi Vera,

Increase the prices ?

With all due respect, this question, assuming the premise is actually correct (?), seems extremely wide .in scope. Maybe you could be more specific ?.

Kind Regards,

Hi Charles,

Thank you for your comment.

What I have been seeing at the moment is an increase in prices of raw materials, which leads to the demand of suppliers in other countries, which can offer more competitive prices and keep the profit margins in the finished products.

The biggest problem when trying to buy cheaper products, is that the quality can be compromised.

My question is, how do you will mitigate possible problems, especially fraude food.

Many thanks,

Vera
