We pack into glass on one line. Have received a complaint from a customer, and have no record of glass being broken on the line. We tip the jars upside to get them out of the boxes prior to filling, so employees don't reach into the jars with their hands, onto a table, and we also invert and blow out each jar prior to filling.

What else can I do to prevent foreign object inclusions.

What exactly was the complaint?

Sometimes the lip of the jar above the neck can chip during sealing, but you'd never see that. We basically follow you're process

We have jars break during processing, we simply record and keep a log of the jars that broke and where during the process for each batch. We've never had a customer complaint however.
