Hi

I'm looking for a lead auditor training which will be the most universal one. I would like to become an auditor after my graduation but for this I have to have a sort of auditing training first  I guess? Any help appreciated

I don't readily recall seeing a "generic" course - they tend to be specific to a given quality / food safety standard (e.g. ISO9001/, BRC etc).
Do you already have comprehensive food industry experience?
This is arguably more relevant than a lead auditor course - if you want to work professionally as auditor you'll need to have first-hand experience of the areas you are intending to audit.

Yes, you need training - but, you also need practical experience first and foremost.

i would suggest the best route would be to contact one of the international CB's human resources departments and inquire as to their requirements for being one of their Auditors -- at the same time, you may want to inquire to see if any have an entry training program in place so that you get at least minimal pay while you are gaining experience and as a bonus they normally will pay for your training courses.... unless you come in as a contractor.

Thank you for replies.

I have lot of an experience as technical manager but not as an auditor. I was conducting internal and external (3rd party audits) on our suppliers. I guess that is not enough :(.

Anyway thank you and I may enquire auditing schemes to see what do they require.
