I dont know that area of management however I took an AIB course that talked about pest control. It also had 22 other chapters of other food safety and sanitation information and was pricey as heck to do it. See if maybe there are any online pest control courses specific to pest control.

Hygienic, are there no study materials as part of the training or exam preparation?

Surely you do not go into it blind.

Simon

I know you need to study to be ready for the exam, but the exam board must surely provide some training, information, body of knowledge...or maybe not?

This seems an odd situation to have an exam without a course or at least material. Anyway, is there someone at the examining body who can recommend reading material for the exam? I've had a brief Google but I fear that any freely available material will not be substantial enough to prepare for a "pest control manager exam". It may be worth investing in a textbook but I would check with the exam organisers/body which would be most relevant.

You may want to check out this U.S. based association: https://npmapestworld.org/

Some of their materials are free, while others involve a small charge.  You can also google for their "Pest Management Standards for Food Processing" publication.  I've seen it posted online elsewhere before.  I'm not sure how relevant their materials might be to your need, but perhaps it will help.

Good luck,

Todd

The examining authority must surely give some idea as to the scope of the examination.

Otherwise IMO it becomes meaningless.

Kind Regards,
