I don't know your timetable (class is 11/2-11/4), but this would likely be one of the less expensive options for PCQI training in central Florida.  The trainers are from the University of Florida and Publix, or at least they were when I took the class.

Good Afternoon Everybody,

Our SQF consultant suggested we do the PCQI Training. Would someone guide me through the steps or website how to find a opening or training around my area? Im located in Plant City FL.

Greatly appreciate it,

Mrs. Gomez

You could probably find a way to do the necessary training online.

Alchemy Academy is pretty big in food industry for trainings.

If you prefer an in person class because you learn and comprehend information better that way, have your consultant provide you a list of upcoming training days in your area. If they just suggested to get certified but not offer any content to back it up, to me, that is (pardon my french) half-assing a job. They shouldn't suggest something without having the necessary information to back it up or provide information on it.

Florida Association for Food Protection - terrific organization, we were members when we were based in Florida - they offer PCQI training...  Even if you don't take their PCQI training, become members - the member fee is low and they have great get togethers - like getting to spend a day at Publix Supermarkets over in Lakeland for instance or at Disney for a days worth of behind the scenes in food safety.

AIB --

AIB also has online training in association with IMEpik

Depending on the state we always inform our clients of the training that is available from the Association for Food Protection and most times the training available from AIB in person classroom and online.

Thank you for all the info. I really want to learn more about all this and to have as much knowledge to the point where i can say ( I fully understand about how important is safety in the food environment and how important it is to be safe at work and follow procedures)
