Hello Everyone,

I am working towards the BRC, one of the requirements of BRC is that we have to write the procedures for accpeptance of labels that are printed outside. Is it ok if we put the copy of approved labels in the receving binder and train the receving personnel to accept the labels that only match the approved labels. Otherwise take the correcitve action if it doesn't matches the label on the file and report to the QC dept.

Thanks,

Daisy

Overall, not a bad idea. You might want to stamp something on the label to make sure no one can use your label in an uncontrolled manner. Perhaps, you create a revised label that has wording like "this is a sample label for verification purposes" or use a stamp to "void" the label. The last thing you want to do is have a binder full of uncontrolled labels for anyone to access.

I do like the idea, because you want to make sure your receivers know how to inspect. Alternatively, your QA team can (and probably should) inspect incoming labels.
