Hello,

We are in the course of introducing a FSMS based upon ISO 22000 in our large-scale restaurants.

Are we required to address biosecurity and/or food defense to meet the standard's requirements, as I cannot find it in the clauses?

Thank you !

Hi Astika,

I understand that biosecurity and/or food defense as you mentioned are requirements from FSSC 22000. You don´t have to comply with it in order to get your establishment certified ISO 22000 as they are not required.

Kind Regards!
