[AC2018]

Hello everyone, 

 

We recently implemented a suggestion/comment box for our employees and have received a few notes to allow a radio (instead of headphones) in the warehouse area for employees that are working with already packaged food. They already know that this isn't allowed in our production rooms and headphones would be a safety concern for the warehouse but maybe a radio would be an option. Our top management is against this because before we had one and all it did was cause issues since everyone likes a different kind of music and volume. 

 

I have mixed feelings about this so I am hoping to get some feedback from others either for or against this idea and why. 

 

Also, we are following SQF if that affects your opinion.

Normally causes more issues.  I do know of companies that pipe in music so there is no fighting over what to listen to.

 

Best not too at all as it is a distraction at its base.

They usually start fighting about music and also some music may be offensive to others so I think its better to just eliminate the headache.
