Hi,

Can someone help me to calculate the rate of sampling to get representative sampling to the quality check.

For our hot sealer machine, we produce around 65000 pcs /hour.(1083pcs/min)

thanks

 Hi Leila19

Usually people take 100 sample for the lot of 10,000. Then check the number of defective samples in the 100 samples taken. The practice is to accept the lot if defective samples are less than 2 and reject the lot if defective samples are more than 3 or 4

In your case there will be too many samples  to check so I will write in my quality manual to take  10 samples randomly every hours and check this samples for defects. Accept the lot if defective samples are less than2 every hours if it is more than 2 than reprocess the lot.

Kind regards
