If you find the original regulation (in this case 1881/2006) on EUR-Lex and scroll down the page it gives a full list of amendments: https://eur-lex.euro...ELEX:32006R1881

Dear all,

Can anyone share EC regulations for melamine & heavy metal? I'm not familiar with international regulations.

I have browse and found this document on google. https://www.fsai.ie/...eg1881_2006.pdf

Can anyone confirm is this the latest amended document?

Thank you

Apparently not, eg -

Attached File  CELEX_02006R1881-20191128_EN_TXT.pdf   337.88KB   14 downloads

TBH, I don't know how you decide which is the latest ? trial and error ?

Kind Regards,

Dear all,

the latest version with all changes included is called "consolidated version". If you download this you are up-to-date.

Hi moskito,

Sorry but this seems not correct.

Just test the link in Post3.

Kind Regards,

Hi moskito,

Sorry but this seems not correct.

Just test the link in Post3.

It "should" be correct - the theory is that the consolidated version contains all the current amendments.

In practice one is somewhat at the mercy of search engines in terms of finding the actual latest consolidated version (if it's particularly recent then google et al are likely to place a prior copy higher in the rankings), hence my preference/suggestion for checking against the list on EUR-Lex.

Hi Charles,

in this example your are right.

It was/is my impression until now that the consilidated version is published with a few days delay only. I have not recognized it before. Next time I will crosscheck in any single case. If I download a document it is always the consolidated version which is not send out in update services or associations.

Tanks for your remark.
