Does anyone have external and internal communication matrix as per ISO 22000:2018 requirement ?

Hi adinathmore,

 

The standard is quite prescriptive in this area:

 

7.4 Communication 

 

7.4.1 General

Determine what to communicate; when to communicate; with whom to communicate; how to communicate; and who communicates.

 

7.4.2 External communication

Establish, implement and maintain effective communications with:

a) external providers/suppliers and contractors;

b) customers and/or consumers, in relation to:

c) statutory and regulatory authorities;

d) other organizations that have an impact on, or will be affected by, the effectiveness or updating of the FSMS.

 

7.4.3 Internal communication

To maintain the effectiveness of the FSMS, the organization shall ensure that the food safety team is informed in a timely manner of changes in the following: - Products or New Products etc. - there is a list of 12 plus other.

 

A matrix isn't a required but may be useful to summarise the what; when; with whom; how; and who.
