If a packaging company is ISO 9001 and HACCP certified, should they go for FSSC 22000 certification

Products manufactured are multi-ply kraft sack bags for dairy, sugar, flour and cement.

Appreciate your feedback

Thank you.

FSSC 22000 is a GFSI certification. Is this what your customers want? It has many advantages over just ISO 9001 and HACCP.  But up to you and your customer requirements.

We produce tobacco and food packaging.

In previous years, when we delivered only tobacco packaging our ISO 9001 certification was enough.

Nowadays FSSC/BRC certification is mandatory for top players in food market,

So, firstly you should ask your customers. If they don't care then it could work.
