In the US - some guidelines are being relaxed/lowered temporarily.  Any other countries relaxing some of their guidelines. Just curious.

Hand sanitizer anyone - I know a brewery and prison in the US are now making it - https://www.fda.gov/...m_source=Eloqua

We have been working on starting to package hand sanitizer so the manufacturer can maintain maximum production speeds.

It has been interesting navigating the temporary rulings https://www.fda.gov/...136118/download

As well as learning a little about the pharmaceuticals world, such as who is responsible for the NDC.

Though IFSQN is mainly for Food, yes Regulations regarding NHP and Medical Devices have changed for Covid-19. Sharing for Canada for those of you also in the pharmaceuticals, NHP and Medical device industry

Bicardi 151 and aloe vera gel make a great hand sanitizer - has a nice smell to it as well.

Strangely enough it's the aloe vera in short supply and not the Bacardi.

There have been several companies, Tito's vodka being one of them, that have come out saying their alcohol content is not high enough for them to appropriately be used as sanitizers.  Others are saying they have issues with safety.  The food side of things saying that it is working against the intended use that they have in their HACCP.  I am of course opting to drink the alcohol instead, in hopes that I can sanitize the body from the inside...  I'm doing it for all of you, not for any other reason.

Cheers!

Everclear (190 proof) and glycerine suppository contents or glycerol which is unavailable worldwide thanks to the WHOs hand sanitizer recipe, with some hydrogen peroxide mixed in for good measure! You can even make more wipes by cuttin a paper towel roll in half and reusing your empty wipes tubs by adding the sanitizer to it. I just cut the little tabs off the inside of the lid and they center pull just fine..

On a side note: There are 2 distilleries near us that are producing large quantities of hand sanitizer, albeit pretty thin and runny. Indiana Whiskey co and Journeyman Distillery. I bought 8 gallons of sanitizer from Indiana Whiskey for $44.50 / gal.

There are "still" sources out there!  :roflmao:  :spoton:
