Nice one.

But it's less funny when the Customs tell you that your Red Snapper is actually a different species to the one's allowed.

That was a saga for us with a fish called "place", also called "plase" and a couple of other things including "flouder."

Well, that makes sense as to why I feel so confused. Have you ever challenged a finding before? Will the auditor hold it against me at our next audit? This was his first time at our facility and he seems very detail oriented.

Also challenge something that you know is wrong - best to get it out of the way before the auditor closes out on-site, however if not possible call the CB and send your challenge by email to them.

Auditors will NOT hold this against you - this business does not work this way.

I was an SQF Auditor - I had challenges, only a couple were errors on my part, but I appreciated the fact that the SQF Practitioners at the facilities were knowledgable about the code - so it was always a learning experience and let's face it, everybody makes errors, miss-calls, etc

We make food packaging containers. Plastic jars for spices, pretzels and the likes. We receive specifications on the resins we purchase. Why would I have to make my own. He said we need to have internal specifications. How on earth do you make internal specifications on PET or PVC resin???
