Hi and good day :spoton:

Actually i want your opinion for my new CCP which is sieving  :helpplease:

Ok we actually use non accredited sieve and now because we want to do a validation for sieving process, we want to sent our sieve for calibration.

But my manager has question me whether it is ok to use non accredited sieve in our CCP process, So i cannot find an answer but I also did not found any reference that state i need to use accredited sieve for sieving process (correct me if I am wrong).

In my plan, I would sent our existing sieve to calibrate and use that calibrated sieve in our process (as we will jot down in our production report the sieve calibration no.)

actually i have no idea how i want to complete my validation report

Please help me :helpplease:

Hi Adrian,

(1) traditional haccp uses critical limit as integrity of sieve. Not related to sieve being certified.

(2) Regardless of (1), afaik, certified sieves are anyway readily available for direct purchase.

Thanks Charles,

But do you means by integrity of sieve?

Thanks Charles,

But do you means by integrity of sieve?

Integrity maintained means no visible damage, eg no broken mesh.

See the previous link.

Kind Regards,
