We have a company that will be using our tins in a gift basket, not for resale.

What kind of labeling does our product need?

Does it have to be on the tin or box or can there be an insert with the information?

Does it need all the nutrition and ingredient information or can the card/insert direct those interested to the nutrition and ingredient information?

There are up to 4 varieties in the box and the card would contain all the potential varieties instead. Allergen information would also be on the card and available on the website.

What about mail order? We sell to a company that sends these same gift boxes out through mail order. We do not make the gift box but provide them with the product to put inside. They are a smaller company than we are. What information should they be providing to their customers and how?

Thank you for any information or guidance you can share!

Any reason why you can not use your standard label that you use and then put a line in that it is not for individual resale - not for resale, etc.?

We can't do that because these packaging is completely different and it wouldn't fit.

We are trying to make sure we remain compliant but want the packaging to be as minimalist as possible so we are going over options.
