Hi everyone, there is demolition construction of a whole building at our next door neighborhood and it really annoys us. Regarding the food safety, anything (air contamination, pest control, etc.) we should pay attention to and any actions you can advise? Thanks.

Hi everyone,

Regarding the food safety, anything (air contamination, pest control, etc.) we should pay attention to and any actions you can advise? Thanks.

I assume main problem is airborne pollution.

Ask/Demand them to erect a suitable net screen. IMEX it's usually a legal minimum to avoid environmental contamination.

Pile drivers can be more problematic if deployed.

Kind Regards,

Demolition can also cause the pests housing in the area to move.
We had an increase in (outside) rats after a local builiding was torn down.

So I would recommend making sure your pest control is up to date.
If needed do extra checks and place more traps.
