Florina Radu : Hello to everyone
Jim Mann : What is the industry and GFSI recommending re measuring handwashing? Drucker: "If you can't measure it you can't fix it". Could food safety culture be monitored in part by measuring it one handwash at a time. Electronically gathered and timely reported compliance data reminds and motivates policy fulfillment at all levels. This data tracks a culturally important behavior change.
Francis Wallington Wallington : Human Resources and Occupational Safety professionals will have their own objectives for establishing a culture . How can we  work togethe?
Justice Bhekizulu Sifelani : Is Food Safety Culture Auditable or measurable?
Solveiga Gintere : in or company high level managers  think that they are outside quality system.  They say keep control over every day decision without knowing requirements. They do not allow to work normally , they think that they help, but they make things wrong

Patricia Mendes : How can we integrate Food Safety Culture to the personel functions?
Solveiga Gintere : Recording, slides and certificate will be emailed to you later.

Isabelle Netto : how to convince management that sitting someone down and talking to them is more effective than passive-aggressive wall-of-text posters?
Solveiga Gintere : high level management DO NOT WANT TO LEAR. They think that they do business and they know all
Scott Royal : Presenter keeps cutting out, is anyone else having this issue?
Jamsheena Noushad : more than lack of knowledge, most of them are doing wrong things because of attittude
Robert Scott : no
Surbhi boora : Nope
Florina Radu : Nope
Nasrin Mohammad pour : I had one time
Solveiga Gintere : our high level management buy sinks and allow us to put them, but after that when they come to production they think that sinks are not for them
Jeffery Stenner : I am having no problems.  Sometimes it helps if you use Google Chrome instead of Explorer.
David Komakech : Nop

CHISHAK JONATHAN Chishak : the slides are one sided, not showing complete
Sook Ling Chua : Agree. They just do what they are suppose to do and when they performed something they aren't recognised or rewarded. Slowly they were demotivated.
Patricia Mendes : How can we assesse and measure the food safety culture? Interview? Internal audits?
Nasrin Mohammad pour : reconnect by using the address from email you receive as reminder  can help
Scott Lund : Interviewing, surveys, getting feedback from employees
Isabelle Netto : The way I increased motivation is by holding small meetings combining food safety and health and safety. it is simply not possible to tell someone to do the right thing when staff think the boss doesn't give a **** about their health and safety. There is a surprising amount of overlap in H&S and FS issues
Maureen Carpenter : I agree people model behavior.  All management - senior and floor managers must set the example
Rick Reyes : Make sure to use Google Chrome.
haitham Khalifa : covid-19 was a great motivation
Solveiga Gintere : thank to COVID. It helps to wash hands of all groups in company.
Solveiga Gintere : COVID do veru good job for food safety
Justice Bhekizulu Sifelani : Why is it that it's always difficult for top management to act as role models, even when it comes to issues of Food Safety Culture?
David Komakech : It's both covid and as company policy
CHISHAK JONATHAN Chishak : with the outbreak of CONVID - 19,companies resort into compulsory washing of hands which i believe it has become a culture even after this pandemic finally go
kunapuli satyanarayana : while designing food safety culture objective shall we taken one objective as behaviour..
Blair Dunbar : UGh.... You cant cuddle people into basic compliance. Food safety culture = never ending employment for food safety professionals with an unsolvable problem
Paul Garcia : In order for a Food Safety Culture to be effective, it must be coming from Upper management to the rest of employees. When stubborn employees do not want to abide they must be coached and ultimately if he/she does not follow thru then he/she must be disciplined'
Jim Lacourse : Those key influencers are typically frontline supervisors
Albert Espinoza Espinoza : Good point made on one point lesson. Can you elaborate on basic components of one point lesson? I have found this to be effective for continous improvment.
Klee Wiles-Pearson : UGH- those "key influencers".......why cant QA be one....ever
Isabelle Netto : even small things like introducing a new employee to colleagues and make them feel part of the tema is crucial. why is it so hard for senior management to understand this
haitham Khalifa : they should see/know the effects of not follow food safety cultures and requirements
Sheila Rigerman : I had a manager when I first started tell me that the plant was an extension of someone elses kitchen. Treat it as you would if your family weregoing to eat from that kitchen. It stuck with me and I pass it along and team members seem to understand more.
Sarah Muncy : When developing training it can be really helpful to include pictures from your own operation.  This really helps with personalization.
Rick Reyes : The real important part of training for safety is that it is not a one size fits all, you have to know your audience and tailor your training to that group or individual. It only takes one person who didn't understand to cause a serious Food Safety issue.
Azad Lakhani : Keep it simple but effective and be consistent.
