Hello everyone, I'm preparing a new sampling plan to control the flour in our plant but I don't know which frequency I should put for those molecules: ergot, alcaloides, and chloride. We did some studies and it seems that we have those contaminants in a high level in our product. Thank you for your help

Hi fouziak,

Respectfully, yr query is unanswerable without knowing yr specific quantitative objective(s).

Generically, maybe consult some AQL tables if you wish an accept/reject solution.

Or apply an SPC approach if familiar to you.

Kind Regards,

Dear Charles,

I don't know what do you mean by our specific quantitative obkective. According to the new regelementations we should control if there is alcaloides, ergot in our product (wheat, flou, gluten, syrup) and we have our acceptance limits.

We did some controls for two months and all results show that we have those moleculs in our product.

I don't know how to use AQL or SPC approach in this case.

we produce high quantity of flour and big volume of syrup every day

I deduce yr objective is to determine whether -

(a) Average Lot concentration alcaloides < X ppm

(b) Average Lot concentration ergot < Y ppm
