Are there any timelines in plan for the next version number?  I'm guessing it should be soon but has Covid delayed it?

It does feel like it should be soon, but I think they're a bit behind the "normal" schedule - there was a "call for interest" thing on the BRC site that suggested a working group might start this month, and was expected to run for 8/9 months. I guess on that basis we might possibly see a draft Issue 9 early in 2022?

Food 9 is right on schedule, with the expectation to publish August 2022, remembering the 6 month publish to audits commence then Makes it February 2023 to transition. 

 

Look for the draft for public comment in December of this year; once that is completed we will complete the draft, and all of the supporting documentation, training and associated publication updates ready for the August premier.
