Hi Ives,

Helps to know Type/Status of Product, eg Frozen Raw Fish,  Canned Fruit, RTE, NRTE ?

Regardless 1st Step is to acquire and study the Standard.

Then do a Gap Analysis to determine if you have adequate Resources, eg Technical, for the FSMS System required.

Documents (2) for the above are freely available from BRC website

Kind Regards,

Charles.C

Thank you, Charles. I have these all covered.

Regards,

Assuming "covered" = "fully compliant" (Including any minimum time requirements for Production/Data accumulation), then I conclude you should be "audit-ready".

I recommend you invest in a trial BRC audit.

Kind Regards,

Charles.C

Hi Charles

Apologies, I have made it clear on our current situation.

Our existing site is currently BRC Certified with AA Grade. We will be moving to a new, purpose-built manufacturing plant. I was keen to know if anyone has the Guidelines when moving to a new site.

Hi Ives,

Sort of Post 4 again ?

It obviously critically relates to what you are doing.

Maybe you should consider BRC's Interp.Guidelines unless also already  "covered".

Kind Regards,

You would need to notify the certication body as it would change your scope.   Page 77/78 of the standard.  it woud most likely require a new audit.

If you are looking for a checklist of how to build a BRC compliant facility, im not sure that exists other than the standard.
