Hi,

Looking for some advice on water quality checks for mains water. We are a small dairy bottling our own milk from the farm and using mains water for washing process and juice manufacture.

What testing and frequency would you recommend? We can access local results online from the supplier.

Many thanks

Alison

Hi Alison; If it's potable water, you still have to test it for at least Total Coliform and E. Coli. Frequency - I'd recommend monthly. By the local results you mean lab testing results? Do they test for chemicals (e.g. heavy metals, etc.)? If yes - good, you don't need to do it yourself.
