Dear IFSQN Community

due to supply chain issues we are experiencing a shortage of film we use to gas flush small cheese blocks, we used to use 8 mil film but now only have 5 mil film, could 5 mil be used for gas flushing?

thank you for your time

best to ask the manufacture directly

will likely depend heavily on how it's manufactured, not just the thickness, a very osmatic film, no matter how thick wouldn't be suitable
