Hi Everyone,

Looking for feedback on the best certificates I can gain as a Quality Assurance/Control Professional.

Currently I am HACCP Certified, an SQF Practitioner and PCQI certified. What other certificates/training are most sought after?

Internal Auditor? Six Sigma? Any others?

Thanks,

-Daniel

Some other ones that are good to hold are:

Internal Auditor

Green Belt - not necessary but not bad to have

SQF Implementation - If this is the program you are supporting

Intentional Adulteration

Preventive Controls for Human Food

FDA Food Defense

FEMA - I have taken a few that are applicable for emergencies and they are free

That is all I am thinking off the top of my head.  Hope it helps.

Cheers!

You, of course, could look at the store and the training tabs at the top of the page.  They are good resources as well and many of the trainings on this site offer certificates.

Cheers!

One of the lead auditor courses (sqf, brc, etc).   Its the same course that auditor are required to take.

Better process control - its required  for low acid / acidified foods.  However, its useful for anyone in food industry.

While I don't think I've ever seen anyone require it - a leadership cert of some kind.     Without some leadership "skills", your knowledge and certificates are far less valuable/effective.
