Hello,

I don't have a sample, but here's my 2 cents.  Hope it's enough to get you started.

Each country has its own requirements, so your SOP should be compliant with that country.  It also depends how your product is labeled (& whether or not there are multiple units in a package).

If you're selling to USA, I would start with familiarizing yourself with the NIST requirements outlined in NIST Handbook 133 - Current Edition | NIST & consider your packaging declaration when setting up limits (based on NIST Handbook 130 - Current Edition | NIST).

You'll also want to define:

  • measuring equipment (including type of scales or machines, software) reference NIST Handbook 44 - Current Edition | NIST
  • measuring & recording process (including frequency, standards, software, limits, responsibility, etc.)
  • roles & responsibilities at all involved levels
  • corrective actions for failures
  • how targets & limits are set, monitored, maintained, audited

 Good luck!

Hi rgiuliano,

Sorry but without more context, yr query IMO is sort of unanswerable in a meaningful way.

Kind Regards,
