I need your advice on CCPs in a sugar refining operation.

We have four sugar Mavis and placed 4 different magnets at the end of each point to trap iron particles as the sugar flows continuously into 2 Silos. Can we consider each point with a magnet as  a distinct CCP.?

However, during an ongoing review it is being suggested that  the four magnetic positions should be taken as one CCP since it is the  same process point.

Kindly share your perspectives.

The 3rd paragraph is confusing - 4 different points = 1 process point. Bewildered.

Apparently Mavi is short for Elmavi and is a vibratory feeder -

I deduce there are 4 inputs into a common line which then divides into 2 outputs.

The concept of  a Combined CCP (ie different stages) within a given Process flow is acceptable within HACCP Plans.

PS - JFI Magnet CCPs have also proven troublesome in previous threads here in respect to nominating/monitoring a Critical Limit. .

Kind Regards,
