I am unsure why this is so challenging, but it's been impossible to find a lab that can perform viscosity testing with a Brabender Viscograph E. I am trying to match test method and equipment, so that exact equipment would be preferable.
I am testing viscosity of starch and want to verify the results from a vendor. The closest I have found is a Rapid Visco-Analyzer at NDSU's Northern Crops Institute. It's similar, but not the same.
I've tried the big name lab conglomerates, several of the other labs I've used in the past, and have reached out to a number of universities with Food Science departments for potential guidance.
Nothing.
If you know of a laboratory that can perform starch viscosity testing on this particular piece of equipment, that would be extremely helpful.
Thanks!
