What current standard? Is there a particular GFSI scheme you're under?

No particular standard, the site is not certified however i am trying to build the system to be in line with an entry level GFSI scheme, Maybe salsa? for a small ltd company?

If it's the SALSA route you're looking at, then they themselves provide an example questionnaire in amongst the many guidance docs they have: https://www.salsafoo...nce Issue 4.pdf

It's very basic compared to the expectations of the various GFSI'd schemes, but obviously SALSA is intentionally set up to be a stepping stone / achievable standard for smaller businesses with fewer resources / less experience.

Thanks buddy, i have not worked with Salsa specifically before mostly only BRC so i was unaware of these resources...

The link you provided is great also, im going to see how my template looks against theirs and their requirements.

Thanks again...

I have had a good look at the file you linked to me, its a great start. however i have to ask, is salsa really that relaxed? the questionnaire seems to ask for very limited information?

obviously i can adapt it but still.

Does anyone have another example of a questionnaire that is compliant to another GFSI scheme? or similar link to the one kindle submitted by Fellow?

Thanks in advance.

SALSA has loads of resources to help - it seems to be set up far more to help businesses get to the required level for certification, so provides far more than you'll be used to from BRC!

Yes, it very definitely is that relaxed compared to what you'll be used to.

A few years ago I moved to a brand new business and set up SALSA for them, after well over a decade of doing BRC at previous sites, and the auditor kept telling me I'd gone far beyond what was necessary, so I suspect you'll find yourself doing the same thing!

Hi again, Thank you for the responses, its really helpful...

I have completed a draft which I'm hoping is not over complicated or lacking in any areas. I have attached this for you guys to take a look at. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated, and again if you have any examples to share this would also be great....

JFI  BRC also offer an intermediate standard (START) to their heavyweight BRC8 Code, eg see -

https://www.ifsqn.co...it/#entry186048

(I  suspect "START" will be tougher than SALSA)

Kind Regards,
