Hi All,

I am after some advice on a robust MAP gas analyser.

Some background:

The equipment must be used in a wet processing area.

Based on customer requirements we have to continuously monitor MAP gas.

Our current MAP gas equipment is in for repair almost monthly and the units are quite new still.

Not necessary handling issues.

Thanks

What is your process where you need to use the MAP Gas Analyzer? Are you only monitoring CO2/O2?

How many readings per hour are you testing. How many machines do you have.

We store ours on a rolling cart. The cart is kept in a storage room while not in production. Then during production - kept away from wash down areas/designated QC spot.

We have 2 CO2/O2 machines and 3 CO2/CO/O2 machines. They do break down/need maintenance but having a few allows for us to have at least one machine functioning.

My facility - meat processing facility in a wet environment and at a temp around 45 F/7 C

I would look into Mocon/Ametek for your needs in a wet process
