ROI of Product Inspection Devices

Took Place:
Friday, September 30, 2022

Presenter:
Robert Rogers, Senior Advisor Food Safety & Regulation, Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection Division

Webinar Overview:
It is difficult to put a price on the importance of the safety and quality of the products we produce. Despite the understood value of a safe quality product, it may be more difficult to identify the value of investment in robust product inspection solutions. Many businesses look to identify the Return Of Investment or ROI when purchasing equipment. In this webinar we will look at the different ways product inspection solutions can have a rapid, if not immediate, ROI.

Julio Cesar Ureña : Good question, Agnethe.

Devi Yuryana Hastuti : Can you explain how humidity can affect the metal detector
Neisha Alexander-Foster : Presently we are using a mechanical sorter to detect stones in dried peas/ beans which has not been very effective. I guess we need to invest in an X - ray system?
Barbara Bielecki : Thank you.
christina gioiosa : Great explanation! And it's good to know that what we're doing now is effective setup and validation. We make giardiniera: pickled veg packed in oil. I read up a lot on metal detector function (lots of white papers from MT!) so I feel as validated as my metal detector program now, haha. :D
