There is a titration method with alkalis to verify free fatty acids in oil. You can check it once

Yes, this is a fairly reliable option but unfortunately  it's neither particularly  "cheap" nor  "rapid" .

Dear All,

I would like to know what are the available rapid methods for checking frying oil quality.

I know 2 methods like

1. 3M Oil FFA checking strips

2. Testo TPM checking instruments.

Is there any other methods available which will be cheap, reliable methods for checking the oil quality.

Is opacity is a measurement to monitor the oil quality?.,

Hi Sawad,

The possibilities can relate to the specific Product/Process/Specification ??.

What is "cheap" ?

Kind Regards,
