Hello,

Is acupointing a dishwasher in a SQF certified plant a requirement or is acupointing the equipment after it's been cleaned enough? I know we used to acupoint it daily in the past in our old facility which wasn't SQF certified but stopped once we moved to our new location.

what is acupointing?   I have never heard this term.   I tried to look it up, but all roads lead to "acupuncture" .   lol

I see, that seemed a little to apparent now.

Im not sure you would need to ATP the dishwasher itself.   you should probably monitor, time, temp, chemical concentration, etc

Then ATP the finished / cleaned equipment

the monitoring proves that you are following the procedure.  the atp helps prove effectiveness.
