Not totally outside the realm of food safety, I suppose...I have taken on the project of reworking the current employee handbook. It was originally written using a lengthy template from the insurance company, and I think it could/should be streamlined. Is anyone willing/able to share Table of Contents of your current handbook or manual?

TIA.

Anita

Hi Touchdown,

A handbook should include:

Company Rules and Procedures

Company Safety and Quality Policies

Organisational Structure

Expected Behaviours/Food Safety Culture

Hygiene Policy/Requirements

Sickness Reporting

Site & Product Security

Controlled Product Areas including entry and exit procedures

Product Familiarisation

Allergen Awareness

Quality Requirements

Pest Awareness and Control

Basic Food Safety Hazards and Controls

Emergency Procedures

Employee Safety Requirements

HR Procedures

I'm sure there may be a few other things that may be useful.

Kind regards,

Tony
