Plant based/Vegan Manufacturing would fall under what sector of SQF? Cooking, plating and packaging occurs at the facility. All plant based/Vegan ingredients in the whole facility.

Food Manufacturing- Module 11 ?

Sounds like Food Manufacturing to me.

You can check the other programs here if you think there might be a better fit.

SQF Code - Edition 9 Downloads - SQFI

yes, Manufacturing 11 -

then product sector FSC 14: Fruit, Vegetable, and Nut Processing and Fruit Juices

this is how we are listed

It will certainly fall under module 11, but I think the OP is asking about the FSC.

Without knowing more about what it is, I can only guess 14, 15, 18, 20 or 22 depending on the specific portion of what kind of plants, level of processing, and nature of the packaging involved.

14

But since you mention "plating" it may also be 20.

So it’s all fruits, vegetables, tofu, quinoa, kimchi etc.. each component of the meal is portioned and placed into Cpet trays- then sealed. The meals are ready-to-heat due to not all the components going through the lethality step. Shelf life- 1 year Frozen

So it is 14 and 20 then.

Hi cgavan10,

Food Sector Categories:

14 Fruit, Vegetable, and Nut Processing and Fruit Juices

20 Recipe Meals Manufacturing

As per previous posts SQF Food Safety Code: Food Manufacturing is applicable and hence Module 11: GMPs for Processing of Food Products applicable as you posted in 2#

Kind regards,

Tony

^The key part in bold there narrows it down to FSC 20 and maybe 14.

I'm guessing the reason you're asking is for arranging a quote with a certifying body?  I don't see these used often outside finding an appropriately experienced auditor.
