Members can add pictures to their profile which will show in their profile, in the personal card popup (which is linked to in topics on the forum) and will be accessable in the member list.

To change your photo, firstly you should click on the "My Controls" link near the top of the screen.

On the left hand menu click "Change Personal Photo". You will first see your current photo, and depending on the permissions, you will see the options to change your photo. If all are enabled, you will be able to:

Link to a remote photo
Upload a photo to the server

Afterwards, just submit the form, and your photo will be updated, and resized (if necessary).

Just a little BUMP on this message. With the recentley upgraded software it has made the forums more suited to networking e.g My friends, My profile. It would be great if more members could add a picture of themselves, it's really nice to see who you are talking with. If not a photo you could always add an avatar. Or really push the boat out and add both.

Cheers,
Simon

Many apologies for the delay Abdul, I have checked all of the settings and permissions and they appear to be correct. I have also checked and I cannot do it for you from the admin area.

Can any other member test to see if you can add a photo to check if it is a permission setting on members group or it is a problem with the image itself.

Maybe I'm dense or blind, but I don't see a "My Controls" link on my screen.
There's a "My Settings" option when I click on my name in upper right hand of page but when I click on "Profile" it says
[#1026] You are not permitted to modify all or some of your profile information.

I think the permissions are set so that a member needs to have made 10 posts before they have full access to editing profile. This is to deter spammers. I see you are now at 11 posts so have been promoted to Associate Member.

Can you please try again.

Thanks,
Simon
