Good Afternoon IFSQN!

My name is Brandon Boone, recently departed Import Specialist from FDA in Los Angeles. I'm excited to be transitioning into a new career as a consultant, and in the process of becoming a Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) Lead Instructor for Human Food Preventive Controls and FSVP. I began working with FDA in 2010 and have had the opportunity to be on the forefront of FSMA, including lots of experience with FSVP Inspections. I look forward to getting to know and interact with the community here!

Cheers!

Brandon

Brilliant and welcome!  I look forward to picking your brains on why on earth the US went in a different direction from the rest of the world?  What was so wrong with HACCP???   :oops2:  :ejut:

Welcome!

I also want to know what FDA went away from HACCP to HARPC.  That's a real headache for USDA plants with any FDA crossover and vice versa.
