Transport Hygiene – The Overlooked Weak Spot in Food Safety

Took place:
Friday, May 22, 2026 - 03:00 PM UK, 10.00 AM EST

Presenter:
Vladimir Surčinski, Dipl.Ing, IFSQN

Webinar Overview:
Transport remains a critical yet often neglected link in the food supply chain. Poor cleaning and weak verification procedures expose companies to contamination risks not covered by traditional HACCP. This webinar will show participants how to identify weak points, implement effective verification methods, and align with new international guidelines.

Attendees will learn:

• Key hygiene risks in bulk and packaged transport
• How to verify cleaning and sealing of transport units
• Practical steps to integrate transport hygiene into HACCP systems

Missed this one and I'm not sure if it's covered but for those outside the UK or inside the UK and have never worked in dairy, they may be unaware of DTAS which is specifically around transport food safety for dairy.
