Is this one about the SQF changes, or transport? It looks like the summary doesn't match the title or is still using the transport hygiene summary.

Thank you for posting TimG, I believe that is a copy an paste error and should read:
'With SQF Edition 10 audits beginning in January 2027, time is running out to update your food safety system. This critical session provides a comprehensive, side-by-side comparison of Edition 9 and Edition 10, highlighting every change and giving you a clear action plan for compliance.'

Ok, someone who is more familiar with the changes can you help me understand why the presenter listed:
- Revised Validation/Verification requirements may require Full HACCP rewrite
I'm a bit at a loss on this one, as I don't see how a FS scheme should be causing HACCP rewrites..
I guess maybe if a EMP risk analysis plays out that we need more EM in the P?

Hi TimG,
I have only reviewed the slides, not watched the whole video. I’m not sure under what circumstances it would require a full rewrite.
I presume that was a bullet point because of the change to validating the food Safety plans, not just critical food safety limits. This change is in alignment with the latest (2022) version of CODEX General Principles of Food Hygiene which includes Part two Hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) system and guidelines for its application
SQF 9 2.5.1.1
"The methods, responsibility, and criteria for ensuring the effectiveness of all applicable elements of the SQF Program shall be documented and implemented. The methods applied shall validate that:
…..
ii. Critical food safety limits are reviewed annually and re-validated or justified by regulatory standards when changes occur; and
SQF 10 2.5.1.1
"The methods, responsibility, and criteria for ensuring the effectiveness of all applicable elements of the SQF Program shall be documented and implemented.
The methods applied shall validate that food safety plans, including critical food safety limits (refer to 2.4.3.12), are effective at implementation and re-validated or justified by regulatory standards when changes occur.".
Kind regards,
Tony
